Last week we shared our experiences and tips on how to travel vegan. Today we let you know you what our hotels around the world have to offer – and it’s going to be delicious!

Vegan holidays in Tuscany

If you don’t want to be worried about the food at the buffet or a possible down duvet on your hotel bed, we highly recommend traveling to Tuscany: The Bio-Agrivilla i pini lies picturesquely in the midst of olive groves and vineyards and offers a 100 % vegan kitchen with fresh home-grown organic ingredients. The rooms were renovated using an ecological construction method and natural materials like hand-woven linen and Fairtrade bio-cotton. If you’re seeking peace, relaxation and digital detox as well as a special culinary experience, this is the right place for you.

Simple is beautiful at LA VIMEA in Italy

Also, a dream for plant-based eaters: The big sister of i pini, the LA VIMEA in South Tyrol, the first purely vegan hotel in Italy. In the sun-spoilt Vinschgau you will find peace, relaxation and wellness combined with a particularly creative and natural cuisine.

The LA VIMEA is vegan with a holistic approach. This means the hotel is sustainable and vegan in all areas, be it nutrition, furnishing, architecture or the general lifestyle. The resource-preserving actions are also important at LA VIMEA: in the kitchen only local and seasonal products are processed.

If the team is convinced, everyone is convinced

Stephanie Schießl is working at the SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA and is responsible for the development of sustainable awareness. She knows how important it is to convince the team about the value of plant-based meals: “Since communication with guests is always carried out by employees, it is essential to first let the team ‘taste’ the food. That way they can experience it before they carry the message on. For this reason, on Wednesdays we always host a ‘Veggie Day’ in the canteen with small lectures about everything important considering a vegan or vegetarian diet, about superfoods, the Planetary health diet or about organic foods.” And the team is convinced – and so the SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA offers a diverse selection of vegetarian, vegan and also alkaline-rich foods on the menu.

Vacation at a vegetarian island – where dreams come true

If you’re traveling to Keemala on the Thai island Phuket, you will not only be amazed by the stunning design and beauty of the resort, but also by the food: whether vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, all wishes are taken into consideration here. Many delicious curries are plant-based anyway – and those who have always wanted to learn how to prepare them at home can book a cooking class in the resort’s garden. Including harvesting the ingredients!

Every year, the entire island is all about plant-based nutrition for a whole week: during the “Vegetarian Festival”, which will take place this year from 29th September to 7th October. The festival tradition comes from the Chinese culture and during the festivities you will not only have to chance to try lots of delicious food, but also to experience some ceremonies and processions – like walking over hot coals for example. During the festival, the Keemala also offers traditional Thai cuisine that is interpreted vegetarian or vegan. And if they need someone to test the menu, we are always available!
