Italy, Croatia and Cambodia – Three new green pearls

In the past weeks, three new green pearls have found their way to us and we like to introduce them to you. Let’s go on a journey via Italy to Croatia and then Cambodia.

100 % Vegetarian in Italy

In the newly opened Paradiso Pure.Living you can expect 100% vegetarian enjoyment. The Green Pearls® Hotel is located on the Alpe di Siusi in South Tyrol, the highest alpine plateau in Europe, in the middle of the Dolomites. The hotel is redefining holidays and wants to inspire its guests to take home as many experiences as possible. The young chef Federica Scolta creates exciting vegetarian delicacies in her kitchen. You will also find art everywhere and have the opportunity to participate in exclusive events of the hotel, such as performances by artists and meetings with creative minds.

Sustainability by the sea

On the picturesque island of Hvar in Croatia, you will find the Maslina Resort. Enjoy the breathtaking sea view of the new green pearl on the bay of Maslinica. Besides relaxing hours at the sea, the famous olive groves and lavender fields invite you to trips into the interior of the island. The furnishings of the hotel consist mainly of regional materials and thus bring nature into the interior. The resort offers you four restaurants, in which regional and seasonal ingredients are used. In the spa area of the hotel, you will be spoiled by the “Garden-to-Skin” concept. The care products used come from the hotel’s own garden.

Cambodia up close

Travel with us to Cambodia where another new green pearl is waiting for you. The Farmhouse Smiling Gecko combines sustainable luxury and rural idyll. The typical local architecture with bungalows and houses on stilts harmonizes perfectly with the green environment and offers the ideal conditions for a relaxing time out. The wellness area offers massages and yoga classes. A special highlight is a spacious pool with a beautiful wooden deck where the comfortable loungers invite you to relax.

We are particularly proud to support the great project Smiling Gecko. The farmhouse is part of the project as a training hotel. Smiling Gecko is committed to street children and young, poor Cambodians. The hotel is located in the middle of the project area and the associated facilities. For example, there is a butcher’s shop and bakery, which also supply the hotel business. Thanks to the farm-to-table principle, fresh and seasonal fruit and vegetable land on your plates. The talented young cook Mariya Un Noun was able to complete her training through the Smiling Gecko Project, among others with renowned chefs in Switzerland.  Experience the real Cambodia during your stay: A guided tour of the project site is available to every guest and you can participate in other guided tours on request.
