We know how important our health is, at the latest since the COVID 19 pandemic. A strong immune system, healthy and sufficient sleep as well as good nutrition and meaningful downtime strengthen the body and the mind.
Our green pearls are the ideal place to recharge after the pandemic and do something good for yourself and your body. In our series on holistic approaches to health, we already introduced you to two great hotels and their offers in the last blog article. Today, too, we introduce you to wellness and health concepts of a very special kind.

Api-Wellness in South Tyrol

Did you know that bees can support our health and well-being? The family-run Hotel Rinner in Oberbozen works with the healing powers from the beehive. The hotel has been offering its guests the unique Api-Wellness beehive air inhalation since 2014. Here, the airflow generated by the bees inside the beehive is sucked out of the hive with the help of an inhalation system so that it can then be inhaled. Api-wellness not only has a positive effect on our sense of inner peace and serenity. It also has a great effect on our health. The airflow from the hive contains essential oils, flavonoids, aromatic substances, and other active ingredients that increase well-being and have a healing effect on various respiratory problems and allergies.

The outdoor whirlpool is particularly perfect for relaxing after an active day and offers a fantastic view of the South Tyrolean mountains. A pleasant wellness plus is also the Finnish garden sauna. Located in a separate area of the garden, it also provides you with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.

HolisticLife in the Ällgäu mountains

You can really escape from everyday life in the Allgäu mountains. Here lies our green pearl, the HUBERTUS Mountain Refugio Allgäu at a good 1,044 meters above sea level. The hotel has created a wide-ranging HolisticLife concept that includes a whole series of treatments and retreats. It unites all individual spa treatments under the term HolisticTouch. It focuses on the impact of the primal elements of air, fire, earth, and water on human well-being. An elementary component of the hotel’s health concept is HolisticFood, which combines healthy nutrition with pleasure. Allgäu traditions are combined with modern cooking styles from all over the world.

Hubertus Yoga Spa

At the HUBERTUS, everything revolves around the theme of mindfulness. The hotel’s HolisticSpirit area supports you in being completely with yourself at this moment. In addition to mindfulness days, you will also find yoga retreats and holistic coaching. Yoga, Ayurveda, Detox, nutritional coaching, Qi Gong, meditation, and chakra retreats are offered all year round. The room of silence, as well as the power place on the roof of the hotel, also offers you opportunities to pause and arrive. In May 2021, the new spa area will open, which you can really look forward to. In addition to a natural bathing pond, it also includes an alpine Zen garden with a Japanese onsen pool, a pool with a fantastic view of the Allgäu mountains, and various saunas.

On a journey inside

Peace, relaxation, and mindfulness are the themes of the Mountain Ashram at CERVO Mountain Resort. Inspired by Japanese onsen, Bhutanese hot stone baths, and the Northern European art of sauna, you will find everything for a relaxing time out combined here. Precious local herbs and fresh spring water bring centuries-old traditions from all over the world to the Zermatt mountain landscape.

The approach at CERVO is holistic and comprehensive and includes the care of the body as well as the power of meditations and sound spheres. Massages with precious local herbs have a detoxifying and harmonizing effect. Regular sound meditations and yoga sessions, which are held on the yoga deck outdoors or in the ritual room reflecting the endless expanse of the landscape, ensure balance.

The new highlight of the resort is the Mountain Ashram Spa. Here you can fully relax and also have a breathtaking view of the impressive Matterhorn. The steam bath with moderate temperatures, the large onsen pool, the infinity pool, and the sauna ensure well-being and relaxation all along the line. Another highlight is the wooden cabin, surrounded by trees, where you can book an exclusive Bhutanese bath. The perfect place to enjoy peace and tranquillity.
