We love long walks through the snowy landscape when it gets colder outside – and there’s nothing better than warming up in the sauna afterwards. Since we love to travel, we already tested a lot of saunas – and today we show you, which we enjoyed the most!

Sauna over the treetops

A 5,500 m² wellness area integrated into the millions of years old rock landscape and the surrounding nature – that’s something you only find at the Mawell Resort. 200 meters above the valley, the tower sauna offers a panoramic view over the Jagsttal and an extraordinary opportunity to relax.

From an old vaulted cellar to a wellness area

A small, home-made spa awaits you at the eco-village Sagna Rotonda in Piedmont, which can be reserved for private use. Hotel owner Giovanni has integrated the sauna with great attention to detail in the old vaulted building and it’s just perfect after a day of hiking.

Sauna with sea view

We love saunas with a special view – like the “Dachterrassen Spa” at the Lifestylehotel SAND with its wonderful view of the Baltic Sea while relaxing in the sauna and in the whirlpool.

Relax in the Sacred Valley of the Incas

The Mayu Spa of the Peruvian Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba offers sweeping views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the red-shimmering mountains around the hotel. After a visit to the dry sauna, the refreshing outdoor pool awaits you.

Holistic, vegan relaxation

At the vegan hotel LA VIMEA in South Tyrol we especially love the forest sauna: relax amidst nature and cool down by jumping in the natural swimming pond – perfect!

Sweating à la carte

What’s first to enjoy – the soothing effects of dry heat in the “Zirbenstubensauna” or the deep heat in the infrared cabin, which loosens the muscles at gentle temperatures? At Naturhotel Outside you are spoiled for choice. 😉

Outdoor wellness in the mountains

Hotel Rinner offers wellness with a panoramic view of the mountains: in the Finnish garden sauna, you have a great view of the beautiful mountain scenery in South Tyrol.

Health oasis with nature view

At the wellness area “Schonzeit” we love the Finnish sauna with a view of the snow-covered landscape of the Weißensee nature park around Genießerhotel Die Forelle. Our advice: Relax even more at the recreation area with pinewood.

Wellness oasis in the Dolomites

The Finnish sauna at the Dolomit Boutique Hotel and the associated Dolomit Homes in Alta Badia is embedded in the large garden– where everything is already covered in snow. Enjoy the warm light when the sun sets and feel especially comfortable in the sauna thanks to the “Enrosadira” (alpenglow).

Pure relaxation at the Mosel river

At the LIFESTYLE Resort Zum Kurfürsten ten saunas are awaiting you – from the Himalayan salt sauna with 50°C to the earth sauna with 110°C. Relax and recharge your batteries with a feel-good guarantee!
