Finally, the long-awaited holidays are here and the children are looking forward to some time by the sea. Unfortunately, the family holiday is not always as relaxing for the parents as it is for the children. Sometimes the rooms are too small, maybe there is no playground nearby, or the food is not “kid-friendly” and there is no time alone with your partner. Anyone who is familiar with any of these situations probably have not yet experienced our first proven family partner hotel Gut Nisdorf!

At the organic children’s and family hotel Gut Nisdorf on the Baltic Sea, everyone gets their money’s worth and feels completely at home. The organic family hotel describes itself as a huge playground – sounds promising doesn’t it?!

Breakfast in peace – a dream come true!

After a quiet night in one of the spacious apartments, you can visit the breakfast buffet together. No matter whether the children are early birds or late risers, everyone has the flexibility to find their own time with breakfast available from 8:00 to 11:00. And when the little ones are so excited that they can’t sit still, parents can simply enjoy a breakfast for two while the children play outside, enjoy the playroom next door or be looked after in the “Kinderland”. Finally, you can drink your coffee in peace – and not only once it’s gone cold!

Apartments with hotel service

Everything has been thought of at Gut Nisdorf – and that’s because the hotel founders Sabine Stange and Jürg Gloor are parents themselves. They found their first family holidays with a child in a hotel exhausting and not really relaxing. The alternative was a holiday apartment which could only be booked with self-catering. The couple decided they needed both for a truly relaxed holiday: a holiday apartment but with the amenities of a hotel. Therefore, each family has enough place and can sit down in the morning at the breakfast table – and even take a picnic lunch for the day on the beach.

At the end of the 1990s, Sabine and Jürg bought the historic manor house in Nisdorf and began extensive renovations. Many things could be preserved, such as the doors and floors. The individual rooms were combined into 2- and 3-room apartments and bathrooms were installed with the aim to use as many ecological building materials as possible. The family hotel was then able to open its doors in 2003.

The next adventure is already waiting

Rain or shine, the children can always experience a new adventure at Gut Nisdorf. The playground with climbing house, suspension bridge, sandpit and slides is located close to the sun terrace, where parents can pamper themselves with homemade cakes in the afternoon while their children make new friends. A special highlight are the Kettcars and Bobby Cars which are free for all guests to use. You can ride around in the garden, on the bike path to the swimming area or to the next village – an option that even the older children enjoy.

Your family does not only have to swim in the sea, but they can also enjoy the natural swimming pond in the large garden. 60 metres long and 30 metres wide with a small sandy beach, it makes the children’s hotel an oasis on the Baltic Sea. Here you can dig, splash, swim or just lounge in your beach chair, listening to the frogs and just enjoy the day. Additionally, while the children play in the care-centre or take riding lessons, parents can relax in the sauna or treat themselves to a massage. At Gut Nisdorf, holidays with the whole family truly can be relaxing!
