Nature around Green Pearls® hotels – By the water

The second part of our blog series takes us to the water. Outdoor recreation is not only available in the nature of mountains and forests. The air by the sea and the soothing movements of natural waters are perfect for a time out. Some of our partner hotels are ideally located by the cooling waters.

Good air by the water

A vacation by the water has many positive benefits for our physical bodies. The view of the wide expanse of the sea can bring the mind carousel in our heads to a stop. The light and air by the sea also have a positive effect on your body. And the body also experiences this effect at a lake, whose calm waters have a similar effect. Exercise in the fresh air and water with various activities from boating to swimming and diving is also an important factor for relaxation on vacation.

The power of the sea

The team of the Eco-Resort Gili Lankanfushi on the Maldives knows about the therapeutic effect of the sea. The beautiful cottages and villas of the resort are located in the middle of the blue ocean. Free yourself from stress and connect with nature. The open layout of the resort provides fresh sea air and a calming view of the water. The salty air helps fight insomnia. And daytime sporting activities like surfing, swimming, or snorkeling further promote deep sleep. A special highlight of the resort is the coral project, in which you can even participate.

Seabreeze at the Baltic Sea

Iodine-rich sea air is blowing around your nose at the Baltic Sea. The Gut Nisdorf on the Bodden coast is located somewhat in the ” backcountry “, as owner Sabine Stange calls it, but you can enjoy the good air there as well. During a hike, you will experience the wide landscape of the pre-Pomeranian Bodden landscape, a national park of 800 km2.

Hotel with a dock on the lake

The Hotel Speicher has its own dock directly on the lake in the Schwerin city area and can therefore not be missed in this blog post. The ships of the White Fleet take you from the hotel pier directly to the pier of Schwerin Castle several times a day from April to October. The old town can also be reached on foot in a good 20 minutes. For larger exploration tours to the surrounding waters, you can rent bicycles and even an e-car from the hotel. Absolute highlight? Enjoying the sunset on the lakeside terrace.
