The historic section of London's King's Cross Station was completed in 1852 and features a state-of-the-art glass roof. A 15-year renovation project was completed in 2012. The most striking feature now is the funnel-shaped curved steel grid in the station concourse. It was designed by John McAslan. (IMAGE: Wikimedia Commons)
