Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany
The "Bahnhof bei Freiburg" was originally located outside the city. The current main station was built after a complete demolition in 1997 and opened in 2001. It was designed by the architects Harter and Kanzler. A special feature of modern German station architecture is the floating roof. You can stay at the Green City Hotel Vauban.
