Our Green Pearls® partner Gili Lankanfushi is not only a pioneer for sustainable and luxurious travel but also offers many inspirations for vegan dishes. The Aloe Vera Coconut Ceviche is a healthy, meatless alternative to get some variety into your day to day cooking routine.
Heart of the hotel is the beautiful garden, full of biologically cultivated vegetables, fruit and herbs. Right in the middle of the Maldivian island, there is this green area where Chef Hari Govindaraj and the kitchen staff gather most of the ingredients for their delicious meals. Also, guests are welcome to relax at this dream garden.
The Aloe Vera Coconut Cevice combines fresh ingredients with hot spices. Coconut and Aloe Vera are not only good for moisturizing your skin but the perfect addition for a healthy meal. The Aloe Vera is a medical plant with a century-old tradition that can be used for both outer and inner beauty. For example, its meat consists of many vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, antioxidants that help with inflammations, bacteria, viruses and digestion. The coconut is still one of the staple foods in its countries of origin. The coconut water itself can count as an isotonic drink due to its minerals, trace elements and fiber, which also have a positive effect on digestion.
When you mix those ingredients to an Aloe Vera Coconut Cevice, you will have a meal that boosts your health and brings a bit of the Maldivean flair to your home.
